The Jungle Bird was created in 1978 at the Kuala Lumpur Hilton in Malaysia, originally served as a welcome drink to guests. This tropical rum cocktail blends dark rum, pineapple juice, lime, simple syrup, and a distinctive touch of Bitters, giving it a unique bittersweet twist. Though lesser known for decades, it gained cult status among bartenders in the 2000s and is now celebrated for balancing tiki-style fruitiness with  bitterness.
